I have a midterm later today. This professor has done absolutely nothing all semester but sit on his ass and talk about nothing. The class is History of Africa to the 19th century. He spends most classes talking about Brazil, his trips to Africa, and how beautiful Ethiopian women are. What little he does say on topics related to the class is extremely ethnocentric. I don't care what he thinks rivers should do, he's supposed to tell me what the Niger and Nile Rivers actually did in that time. He goes off on these tangents. He never completes a thought, sentence, or phrase. When you ask him to clarify, he gets pissy. He "reads" from the "textbook" a lot. By read, I mean he says random words from the sentences in the book that I had to buy from some hole in the wall bookstore that cost me $60 and I can't sell back. The syllabus really had nothing to do with the class. I might as well throw it away as it is of no use to me. He's living prove of how old people are set in their ways.

Other than that I'm ok. I'm doing well in my other classes. I was hoping to be on the Dean's List again but old man Turner is making that very difficult.

Guess who I saw the other day and goes to Hunter? It's a good thing that I don't laugh hysterically thinking about that day cuz I would've laughed uncontrollably in her face. she's much calmer now alhtough she is still trying to get people to convert. We had a nice chat about what we're doing now and all that good stuff. She closed with inviting me to Bible study and gave me a pamphlet about The Watchtower.

Way to let me change my mind only to change it right back.

Midterms, papers, etc. I'm pretending like I'm not stressed about falling behind in my work. I had a quiz today for which I most definitely did not study. I originally had the "for" at the end but you cannot end a sentence with a preposition. Who made up that rule anyway?

I need a job.

But I'm back and trying to be a better person.

Camp leaves me drained. I fall asleep at 7 every night. :(

Yay! I have a job for the summer. I will be a Group Leader of the Oasis summer day camp for 7 weeks. $1400 for the program. I'm torn between spending $13.50 a day for a 10 minute walk and 25 minute ride or the $4.50 a day for a 2+ hour ride that includes a bus and four trains.

Eh. I'll take the railroad. Less niggery people there.
